Review of Installed Equipment on Utilities Substation System: Review of all equipment installed in substations followed by recommended monitoring and “non-intrusive” maintenance monitoring (if practical).

Work with Manufacturers to develop recommended Condition Based Monitoring and Practical and Efficient Maintenance Triggers: Instructor has many years of experience and cooperative relations with all Circuit Breaker Manufacturers and has accomplished major improvements in the manufacturers approach to “recommended” maintenance, materials (such as lubricants) used, minimizing maintenance requirements, design improvements, etc.

Failure (Root Causes) Analysis of Substation Equipment: Perform Root Cause Analysis of Substation Equipment and provide recommended improvements to design, operations, and maintenance of equipment to prevent future occurrences.
